Yoga is by far my favorite exercise, but yoga is about more that just fitness. Yoga is inspirational, yoga is motivational and yoga poses challenge you. I love taking a good yoga class at a studio but often my schedule doesn’t allow me to make it when I have time to practice, so I’ve found that taking time at home to make a practice is key for my lifestyle. YouTube makes it extremely easy to take a class at anytime. My favorite channels have outdoor classes. They motivate me and calm my nerves, even though I’m doing them in my living room I feel like I’m in paradise soaking up the sun. Check out my 3 favorite YouTube outdoor yoga channels below and why I like each of them.
#1 Five Parks Yoga W/ Erin Sampson
I absolutely LOVE this channel! Erin is a wonderful instructor and offers a wide variety of yoga for all skill levels. She films all around the world and the scenery is beautiful! Classes range from beginner to advanced with plenty of modifications for everyone in between. I love how she flows with her classes and she is so easy to follow! She also hosts Yoga retreats in Costa Rica, which I hope to make to someday! Below is her description on YouTube. Check her classes out and let me know what you think.

Boho Beautiful
This channel is amazing! They have over 1 million subscribers and for a good reason! The videos are quality and the instruction is on point! Not to mention the beautiful places they film all over the world. Just watching the fluidity of her movement is inspiring. I’d say that there are videos for every level but out of all 3, Boho Beautiful channel has the most advanced classes. She does do modifications for poses and has beginner classes too so anyone can practice. All in all if I am looking to get a really good workout and feel relaxed and centered this is the channel I turn to. Check out Boho Beautiful and let me know if you were as whooped as I am after her classes. Here is her description on YouTube.

Our journeys have somehow intertwined right here… And even if its just for this fleeting moment. Through these pixels, through our finger tips. We are still fire. We are love. We are not only living, we are trying to explore what it means to be alive. We create content that we hope will inspire others. To change and motivate people’s perceptions of possibility. The possibility of themselves, their life, and the world around them. Love & Light… Juliana & Mark*”
Amanda Outside
Amanda Outside’s YouTube channel is more of a lifestyle channel but her playlists for Powerful Yoga Toning and Yoga for Backpackers are full body yoga classes filmed at beautiful desserts, mountains and lakes. Her classes have a wide variety of poses and skill levels and she q’s modifications in case you need them. Great video’s for any level of Yogi. Here is her description on YouTube. “Description:
Hey there, my name is Amanda and welcome to my YouTube channel!
Most days you can find me planning a backcountry camping trip, snuggling with my ultra-warm sleeping bag in the tent somewhere, or perfecting the backcountry pancake.
I teach women who are totally into hiking how to take their time outdoors to the next level and start backpacking.
On this channel, you’ll find inspiration and resources for your next backpacking trip!
When I’m not busy camping and exploring the backcountry, you can catch me on my computer editing upcoming videos (I post every week!), dancing to Queen songs around the house, drinking wine out of a Hydroflask tumbler (even at home) or watching any show with Julia Louis Dreyfus. (Veep, anyone?)
I’d LOVE to hear from you, so make sure to say hello in the comments or send me an email. xo -Amanda”
So there you have it my favorite outdoor yoga on YouTube. Do you do yoga outside? Here in Montana I usually only practice outside in the summertime but occasionally I bust a move out on a winter adventure. Here is a pic of me at Buffalo State Park in one of my favorite poses, Warrior 3. This day was particularly windy but I managed to hold my own on the top without being blown over long enough for my hubby to snap this pick. Got a pic of your favorite pose outside? Add it to the comments and let me know where you were. I love to here other Yogi’s stories of adventure.
Hope you enjoy these channels as much as I do and feel free to share your favorite videos or if you have a favorite channel.
