Have you every had melt in your mouth country style beef ribs frozen to done in 30 minutes, that fall apart and taste delicious? Well get ready this recipe is for the BEST country style ribs I’ve ever had. Pair them with brown rice and broccoli all cooked in ONE POT! The Instant Pot does the whole job for you in 30 minutes. It’s crazy this one kitchen gadget has totally revolutionized the way I cook. It’s so quick and everything turns out like you’ve cooked it all day!
With only 5 ingredients its quick and easy. First gather your country style beef ribs, Lundberg Short Grain Brown Rice, Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce, Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce and broccoli.
First take the frozen country style beef ribs and run them under warm water to loosen them from the package. Next cut the ribs in half and add them to a bowl.
They are so easy to prep all you you do is add the Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue sauce and Mae Ploy Sweet Chili sauce to the bowl and mix them coating the meat. I absolutely LOVE Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce it is one of my favorite marinades and goes great with salmon and chicken too! Definitely a staple in our house. Set that aside for a quick minute while you move on to the broccoli.
Now that the meat is marinating, take the broccoli and cut the florets off to get ready for the instant pot. So easy!
Now all that’s left to do is add the ingredients to the Instant Pot. So first add the rice and water or broth the. Of course this recipe has to have a Heathyish twist so I make sure to use Short Grain Brown Rice to make it whole grain and easy to digest. Now add the coated ribs on top of the rice and sauce in the Instant Pot.
Close the lid on the Instant Pot and set it to High Pressure for 30 minutes making sure the pressure release on the top is closed. It will start to pressurize and then cook for 30 minutes.
When the 30 minutes on the Instant Pot is done release pressure valve on the top of the lid and wait till the small silver ball drops, this means the pressure is low enough to open the lid. Add the cut broccoli quickly so you don’t loose a ton of heat. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot for 3 minutes. It will take a few minutes to gain pressure so it may take closer to 15 minutes for the timer to go off. Release the steam valve and wait for the silver ball to drop.
And Presto, it’s done! Easy peasy! Serve the ribs over the rice and broccoli and enjoy the yummy saucey rice. It’s so good and has the perfect zing to it!

2 lbs country style beef ribs
1 cup Lundberg Short Grain Brown Rice
